Mark Correnti
With a professional background that includes leadership positions in the investment management, nonprofit and social enterprise sectors, Mark has performed fieldwork within Sub-Saharan Africa since 2000. He has over 20 years of experience in the investment management industry, including Managing Partner responsibilities within Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management (NACM), a global investment management firm with $60B in assets under management. Most recently, Mark was Director of Impact Investing at Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship (Santa Clara University), working with investors and prominent Africa-based enterprises (for-profits, nonprofits and hybrids) to help them scale. Mark began his career with IBM. He performed graduate studies at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Internal Public Health, earned a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Loyola Law School, and B.S. and B.A. degrees from Loyola Marymount University.
