John Holm

John Holm is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at PYXERA Global.  Leveraging an entrepreneurial approach in both the private and social sectors, John led the successful market entry and expansion of the Subway Chain in Hungary while also advising Starbucks and IKEA on their respective market entries into Central & Eastern Europe and the Balkans (Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia). Additionally, John led and managed the Diaspora Investment Alliance – Bangladesh Gives program, a multilateral partnership between USAID, Chevron, and CAF America, focusing on engaging Bangladeshi diaspora and private sector actors while also developing CAF America’s multilateral partnership with the SDG Philanthropy Platform, in concert with Rockefeller Philanthropic Advisors, Ford Foundation, Hilton Foundation, MasterCard Foundation, Foundation Center and the UNDP. In his current role, John advises private sector partners on CSR competitiveness, monitoring & evaluation, and shared value implementation, while developing multi-sector partnerships to make significant progress in reducing energy poverty.

John received an MBA with Distinction from Central European University in Budapest and is also a certified Shared Value consultant.
