Jackson K. George, Jr

Honorary Consul General-Liberia

Hon. Jackson K. George, Jr. is an entrepreneur, a community leader and a servant of his people. Hon. George was appointed by Her Excellence President Ellen-Johnson Sirleaf as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Liberia on December 15, 2017 and commissioned by the Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Marjon V. Makara on December 19, 2017 at the Foreign Ministry in Monrovia, Liberia. Hon. George is the first Liberian Honorary Consul in the state of Minnesota representing the Republic of Liberia. He was born in Grand Bassa County, Liberia to the union of Mr. Jackson K. George, Sr. and Odessa Holder George.


He is the Chief Executive Officer of Comfortable Living, Inc., President of the Liberian Business Association in the Diaspora and member of the Brooklyn Park Business Forward Advisory Board. Hon. George pride himself for his signature training, “Diversity in the Workplace as it relates to African immigrants”.


He is a Christian and has four kids. He Is a graduate of Concordia University with emphasis in Organizational Management and Leadership. Prior to being Honorary Consul, he served as Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Organizations of Liberians in Minnesota, member of the Board of Directors of ARC Minnesota, Advisory Committee of the Hennepin County Multi-Cultural Diversity Committee, and member of the Brooklyn Park Human Rights Commission.
