Harry Pastuszek

Harry Pastuszek is Vice President of Client Engagement for PYXERA Global. He brings 20 years of experience in aiding the private sector to achieve sustainable development objectives. Mr. Pastuszek managed the global sustainable development department of Bechtel’s Mining and Minerals business unit. Prior to his time at Bechtel, Mr. Pastuszek was a founding member of the International Finance Corporation’s Corporate Citizenship Facility, a donor-funded, grant-making arm of IFC that sought to enhance innovation in economic impact through IFC’s borrowers. This background is now capped with 6 years of experience as a PYXERA Global executive, developing, designing, implementing, and managing a diverse portfolio of programs to support extractive industry client needs in local content and community development programming.

 

Mr. Pastuszek has advised international oil companies across Africa in meeting commitments to national content and local economic development – including BakerHughes GE and Tullow in Ghana, CNOOC in Uganda, and Anadarko in Mozambique. He has also led broader, country-wide analysis of energy sector opportunities in Sierra Leone, Equatorial Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, Ghana, and Kenya. He has published extensively on topics related to energy solutions, value chain integration, and economic diversification – with a focus on energy in Africa. Mr. Pastuszek received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wake Forest University and his Juris Doctorate from the George Mason University School of Law.
