Melusile Ndlovu

Melusile Ndlovu is a Capacity Building Specialist on the USAID-funded South Africa Low Emissions Development Program (SALED), implemented by Chemonics International. SA-LED provides Technical Assistance to South African municipalities on climate mitigation project development, and implementation including clean energy projects. Working with Southern African municipalities he is gaining experience in supporting municipalities with sustainable energy transition planning, capacity building and project implementation. He is currently leading the transaction advisory team supporting eThekwini Metro Municipality (Durban) on the development of a PPP conduit hydropower project, solar and energy efficiency projects.

He recently earned his MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute, at Strayer University in Maryland, USA. He holds an M.Phil. in Environmental Management from the University of Stellenbosch, Stellenbosch, South Africa. He is passionate about clean energy adoption for sustainable development.
